RegistrationCollegium registration is $10.00. (fee covers all classes) Makes checks payable to "SCA Inc./Collegium Caidis". Registration must be done by U.S. Postal service. No overnight, special delivery or signature requested, please!!! The mailing address is under "Registrar," under "Collegium Caidis," on the inside back cover of the Crown Prints. FoodThe Shire of Heatherwyne will be staffing a table with snack type foods for donations to the attendees of Collegium. They will not be offering a lunch. They will have maps for restaurants in the area, for those who are interested. Site and DirectionsFrom 10 Freeway, exit Indian Hill (exit #47), go north, turn right on Bonita. Go through Claremont Village, turn left (north) on College Ave., and head to 6th Street (just after the gates; turn right on 6th street to find parking lots. Parking will be on College Ave., on 5th Street, or in the lots of 6th Street. Parking is free on Weekends. From 210 Freeway from LA going east: get off at the end of the freeway onto Foothill Blvd. Follow Foothill East until Indian Hill Blvd. Turn right (south) and either turn left on 6th Street (east) over to the college for parking lots, or turn left (east) on Bonita, through the Claremont Village, following the direction from above: turn left (north) on College Ave., and head to 6th Street (just after the gates; turn right on 6th street to find parking lots. Parking will be on College Ave., on 5th Street, or in the lots of 6th Street. Parking is free on Weekends. Map of Pomona College. We will be using the Carnegie Building, Pearsons Hall, and the Smith Campus Center. They will have large painted signs on them. An effort has been made to make sure areas are accessible for people who use wheelchairs and other mobility equipment. Boethian students who know their way around the Campus question will be wearing large filigree sunburst medallions/pins to which blue ribbons have been attached. If you are lost or unsure of where you are going on the campus look for one of these kind folk. They will cheerfully direct you to the room or building you are seeking. ReminderBring note-taking supplies for all classes. Pay particular attention to any special student needs suggested by the instructor in the class descriptions. Gather 15 of your brethren and join in combat with your fellow units from Caid to prove you are the best of the Knowne World. (This is for friendly competition and camaraderie with and against your fellow war bands!!) Our King Edric will present the winning Warband a pennant to display with their banner throughout the next year!!! Whether you are a shield, pole arm, archer or (fill in the blank), there will be plenty for you to do. See you there.
